09/12: Merry Christmas and Adieu to a very difficult growing year
Last time I wrote that I was praying for rain now I pray for the rain to stop.
Some thoughts for 2010
Just a suggestion to those who like to keep their gardens tidy whatever the weather, that even though the woody tops of herbacious plants will continue to look messy they are perfoming a very usefull function for the plant by offering protection and they will continue for a while yet to offer seed as a food source to wild birds. I never clear my garden completely until March.
During January I will be at work on my applications for shows during 2010, so I hope to begin listing show dates from then.
